1,265 ‘Pablo’-affected families get houses
DAVAO CITY – The provincial government of Compostela Valley and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) turned over modified shelters to 1,265 families who were affected by the typhoon “Pablo” in 2012.
Over 97 families in Montevista town, 146 families in New Bataan town, 247 families in Compostela town, 632 families in Monkayo, and 143 in Laak received shelters.
Governor Arturo Uy said the estimated cost of the project amounted to P88.55 million. (Alexander Lopez)
