2.5 quake hits Bohol
Nearly three months after the 7.2 magnitude quake jolted Bohol killing more than 200 people and destroying thousands of houses and even centuries-old churches, another earthquake has rattled the province.
On Tuesday (January 7), a 2.5 magnitude quake was recorded at 9:18 a.m., 90 kilometers northeast of Tagbilaran City.
According to the latest bulletin of the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PhiVolcs), the tremor had a depth of 18 km.
It was tectonic in origin.
No aftershocks were expected and no damages were also recorded. (Jomari D. Guillermo)
