Cops catch 6 wanted persons in Caraga


CAMP COL. RAFAEL C. RODRIGUEZ, Butuan City – Police arrested six wanted persons in the Caraga region on Wednesday, April 17.

Police Regional Office-13 Director Police Brig. Gen. Kirby John B. Kraft said Leo, 38, was caught in Butuan City for violation of Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and rape.

Benjie, 41; Joe, 23, and Emmie, 51, all from Cagwait, Surigao del Sur, was apprehended for illegal gambling.

Ferdi, 46, of Butuan City, was nabbed for violation of Republic Act No. 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.

Warren, 31, of Claver, Surigao del Norte, was arrested for frustrated homicide.

Suspects are in the custody of apprehending police stations for proper disposition.

Kraft cited the arrest of the suspects.

"I laud the law enforcers for contributing another accomplishment in our hunt for wanted persons in Caraga region,” Kraft said. “Rest assured that the PNP remains relentless in accounting for all wanted individuals and put them behind bars."
