Police said four men wearing face masks arrived and declared a holdup. They hogtied the owner and five employees and threatened to kill them if they resist.

The suspects proceeded to loot the store of cellphones, most of which were expensive brands. The owner estimated that approximately 150 cell phones and used laptops were taken.

A bystander recorded the escape of the suspects wearing hats and hoodie jackets onboard two motorcycles towards the direction of Santa Cruz, Laguna.

The store lacked surveillance cameras as it recently opened and the building where it is located had no security guards because neighboring units were still under construction.

Police said the suspects possibly studied how to enter the store as they frequently sell gadgets through live streaming on social media and Facebook.

Value of stolen items is still being determined. Follow-up investigation is ongoing.
