LOOK: Kojie San celebrates 18th anniversary with exciting new product launch

The use of skin-whitening products is an integral part of Filipino skincare routine. Indeed, these products are essential components of their vanity kits. When it comes to whitening soap, many will agree that it’s almost synonymous with Kojie San, an orange bar soap that some users slice into numerous blocks as a smart hack to make the most of it.

Unknown to many (maybe because of its Japanese-inspired packaging) that their favorite soap Kojie San, is a local Filipino brand from Beauty Elements Ventures Incorporated (BEVI). This 2024, this company is celebrating its 18th anniversary. And what’s a better way to mark this milestone than for Kojie San to introduce new products in the market that will help its customers achieve the type of beauty they aspire to be?

On April 16, 2024, at an event held at Marriott Grand Ballroom, Kojie San announced not just one but three new product lines and innovations that will elevate the skincare routine. First on the list is the Kojie San +, which offers four new variants of Kojie San: Glycolic acid, Salicylic acid, Niacinamide, and Vitamin C. All these four variants are in soap and lotion forms.

“The first one is still more focused on the Kojic acid line, but this time we’re diversifying the lineup of variants,” said Kelcey Chua, senior brand manager at Kojie San. “We understand that there are different needs for our growing consumers, we wanted to add their favorite ingredients. So that our customers can really experience the full line. If they want a specific need, like just brightening not the intense lightening, then we have vitamin C and so on.”

Next is Life by Kojie San, designed to enable consumers to experience beauty from within with its range of liquid food supplements. It also comes in four different variants targeting various needs: Glow + for bright skin, Sleep + for better sleep quality, Slim + for gut health, and Renew + for bright skin cell regeneration.

“We’re relaunching Life by Kojie San,” Kelcey shared. “It’s our liquid supplement line for health and wellness. These products focus on if you’re looking for better sleep at night. We also have detox and antiaging.”

Last is Diamond Skin by Kojie San. It is designed to offer a treasure trove of skincare delights in the form of a skincare set with potent active ingredients. 

“It’s a premium rejuvenating set,” she said. “There is a trend right now in terms of facial sets. We also want to tap into that because we do understand that our market is really looking for it.”

Moving forward, Kelcey said that the brand is now gearing toward becoming more sustainable not just in their packaging but also when it comes to sourcing ingredients “because we really do recognize the need for it.”

In addition to introducing new products for Kojie San, BEVI has also launched different new brands, including Defensil, a unique line of products that blends advanced protection against germs with a nurturing touch for the skin. All of these products will soon be available in different stores nationwide and on their official website.
