BOAC, Marinduque – The Philippine Coast Guard and the Municipal Risk Reduction Management Office rescued a man injured by a stingray in the sea of Tres Reyes Island, Barangay Bacong-Bacong, Gasan, this province, on April 24.

The victim, a resident of Barangay Bognuyan, Gasan, was fishing when he was stung by the stingray that has life-threatening risks.
He was rescued and administered first aid. The victim was taken to the MDRRMO Gasan for further medical attention.
