Roque, 22, who played for two seasons with the Altas -- where he was named as the Most Improved Player and a member of the Mythical Five last year — will take his act to Intramuros for Season 101 as he is set for a one-year residency before he can finally suit up for the Knights.

The Kapampangan cager is a former prospect of the Letran’s junior team but did not have the opportunity to compete for the Squires due to Covid-19 pandemic.

He averaged 12.9 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.06 assists, and 1.44 steals per game under the guidance of former Perpetual head tactician Myk Saguiguit, who was replaced by Olsen Racela at the helm.

Also transferring to Letran are Emman Galman (CSB), Thomas Reid (UST) and Ryle Rosillo (Mapua).

In Season 99, Letran suffered a dismal 2-16 record despite winning three consecutive titles in three years.
