‘Queen of Tears’ EP 15 gets 21% rating anew; Will it surpass ‘Crash Landing on You’ in the finale?


The Korean “Queen of Tears,” starring Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won, garnered 21 percent nationwide rating again with episode 15. 

According to Nielsen Korea, episode 15 of “Queen of Tears” (눈물의 여왕) on April 27 got a nationwide rating of 21.056 percent, lower compared to 21.625 percent for episode 14 last April 21. It was watched by 5.189 million people.

This put “Queen of Tears” in first place again among all programs on paid platforms, terrestrial and comprehensive channels) that aired in South Korea on April 27. 

In the metropolitan area (Seoul, Incheon and Gyeonggi) on April 27, “Queen of Tears” episode 15 got a rating of 23.92 percent (first place), compared to 23.925 percent for episode 14. It was watched by 2.76 million people. 

The 16th and final episode of “Queen of Tears” will air on April 28. 

With one remaining episode left, can “Queen of Tears” surpass the rating of “Crash Landing on You” to claim the title of the highest rated drama on Korean network tvN? 

“Crash Landing on You” episode 16 on Feb. 16, 2020 got a nationwide rating of 21.683 percent to emerge as the highest rated tvN drama.
