Veteran showbiz columnist Ogie Diaz has made a significant social media post, responding to the serious cyber libel case filed against him by Bea Alonzo on May 2.

In his Instagram story, Ogie apologized to the media for not issuing an official statement regarding Bea's cyber libel case.

Ogie stated that the issue would be addressed at the appropriate time.

Ogie was referring to the breakup of Bea and Dominic Roque.

In February, Bea and Dominic released a joint statement saying they had decided to end their engagement.

On May 2, Bea filed three criminal cases for cyber libel against showbiz columnists and online hosts Cristy Fermin and Ogie, along with their co-hosts in their respective online programs.

Bea filed the cyber libel cases at the Quezon City Prosecutor's Office. She was accompanied by her lawyer Atty. Joey Garcia and manager Shirley Kuan when she filed the complaint.
