K-pop girl group ILLIT debuts on Billboard 200

New K-pop girl group ILLIT achieved another milestone by debuting on the Billboard 200 chart with their album “Super Real Me.”

“Super Real Me” debuted at No. 93 on the May 11-dated Billboard 200 chart.

This is another achievement for ILLIT after their main track “Magnetic” debuted on the coveted Billboard Hot 100 at No. 91 in April, becoming the fastest female K-pop artist to enter the chart, and the first one to do so with a debut single.

Since the release of “Super Real Me” on March 25, ILLIT scored records in streaming and physical album sales.

“Magnetic” grabbed the No. 6 spot on the Billboard Global Excl. US and No. 12 on the Billboard Global 200, retaining its position for six consecutive weeks (dated May 11).

The song also had a three-week run on UK’s Official Singles Chart Top 100. “Magnetic” also reached No. 11 on Spotify's Global Weekly Song Chart and No. 10 on the Global Daily Song Chart.

With the notable streaming record, ILLIT became the fastest K-pop artist to reach 100 million streams on Spotify.

On album sales, ILLIT sold over 380,000 copies of their four-track debut album and set a new record for the highest first-week sales for a debut album by female K-pop artists.

ILLIT’s social media presence is equally impressive, with the hashtag ‘#ILLIT’ amassing over four billion views on TikTok. “Magnetic” is also featured in over 607,000 TikTok videos and over 850,000 Instagram Reels.
