MANILA, Philippines --- Officials from the Eastern Police District (EPD) led the blessing of its newly renovated satellite office in Pasig City as part of efforts to improve the workplace of its police officers.

Chief Supt. Miguel T. Laurel, EPD District director, said among the improvement done at the two-story EPD satellite office located along Meralco Avenue, in Ortigas, Pasig City, were the setting up of work stations for police officers assigned there, the renovation of the building’s roof, and the construction of comfort rooms for prisoners temporarily detained at the detention cell.

Laurel said the renovation of its satellite office building, which cost about P5 million, was made possible through the efforts of Pasig City Rep. Roman T. Romulo.
