The spokesman of the Sultanate of Sulu today asked the Malaysian government, through the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), to produce the 10 members of its Royal Security Forces (RSF) being held as captives by Malaysian Armed Forces.
In a press briefing at Royal Sultanate's house in Maharlika Village, Taguig City, Abraham J. Idjirani told reporters that it's important for Malaysian authorities to produce the 10 captives for them to find out the condition of the Sultanate's men.
"We would like to appeal to the Malaysian government, through the Department of Foreign Affairs, to produce the 10 captives Royal Security Forces captured on the March 1st Friday massacre," Idjirani said.
"If they (Malaysian government) cannot produce, how can they prove to us that the Royal Security Forces (that) surrendered were not harmed then? This is the question lingering in the minds of the members of the Sultanate Council and the Sultan of Sulu", he added.
Idjirani, at the same time, thanked the DFA for heeding their call after making a similar request to the Malaysian authorities.
