Three Hurt in Road Accident

PASIG, City- A school service  driver and two  students were injured when the vehicle they were riding rammed into a Meralco post earlier today.

Reports reaching the Tactical Operations Communications of the Pasig Police said the injured driver was identified as  Danilo Angay, driver of a school service van of the Don Bosco  Technical College, and two students namely Marvin Trajano, 9 and John Remo Angca, 15 who are now undergoing treatment at the Medical City.

Reports also say that there were also elementary and high school students on board the school service vehicle when the accident occurred.

Angay  said he was cruising  along Pasig Blvd. C-5 around 6:30 a.m. earlier today when he saw a tricycle approaching him. According to him, he tried to manoeuver to avoid hitting it, but instead  rammed into Meralco post and turned turtle.

The other students only sustained bruises while the front portion of the service van  was totally damaged.

The driver is now in police custody to detail what really happened.
