20 arrested for violating health protocols at a party inside Manila North Cemetery
At least 20 persons were arrested for attending a baptismal party inside the Manila North Cemetery Saturday night (December 12).
Investigation showed that the attendees set up a tent beside the graves to celebrate a christening.
Health protocols such as wearing of face mask, face shield, and physical distancing were reportedly not observed during the gathering.
Those present reportedly ate, drank together, and used a videoke -- activities that are prohibited by health authorities to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
Police authorities discovered the graveyard party when they responded to a complaint about the noise coming from the videoke.
Those arrested are now under the custody of the Sta. Cruz Police for violating health protocols.
