The Philippine Airlines advised travelers to check the status of their flights first before proceeding to the airport, in light of typhoon Tisoy which threatens to hit the Bicol Region.

"Philippine Airlines is closely monitoring the track and projected coverage of Typhoon Tisoy (International name Kammuri) which is expected to affect the Philippines, particularly Luzon, on December 3 and 4," the airline company said in a statement.
PAL also mentioned that they may have to cancel certain flights or adjust schedules if necessary for urgent safety reasons in view of the approaching typhoon.
"If you are traveling on a flight to/from Manila or Clark on December 3 or December 4, 2019, we recommend that you check the status of your flight before proceeding to the airport, and watch for any further advisories or updates," the airline added.
Cyclone signal warnings have already been raised over 22 areas on Sunday.
