‘CBS Evening News’ with Katie Couric now on Q

Catch the biggest and hottest evening news from the U.S. every morning, as “CBS Evening News” with Katie Couric premieres on Q Channel 11 on April 21.

Together with other “CBS Evening News” viewers around the globe, Filipinos will soon be able to watch the latest U.S. and international news delivered live via satellite on Q Channel 11.

“CBS Evening News” is in the frontline of news programs aired on CBS, an American television network, since 1948. And on Sept. 5, 2006, “CBS Evening News” with Katie Couric premiered on the network.

Couric, who is also the managing editor of the program, became the first female to solely anchor a weekday news broadcast. Since then, the 52-year-old anchor has reported on some of the biggest news and happenings all over the country and the world.

Joining Couric in the “CBS Evening News” are some of today’s most distinguished correspondents namely Chip Reid (White House), Lara Logan (Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent), Bob Orr (Justice Department and Homeland Security), David Martin (National Security), Armen Keteyian (Chief Investigative Correspondent), Anthony Mason (Business Correspondent), and Jon LaPook (Medical Correspondent in New York).

“CBS Evening News” with Katie Couric airs on Q Channel 11 starting April 21, Tuesdays to Saturdays via satellite at 7:30 a.m., with replays at 1 p.m. and on Saturdays at 12:45 p.m. Also watch out for “CBS Evening News Weekend Edition,” Sundays and Mondays via satellite at 7:30 a.m., with replays at 1 p.m.
