CEMEX Philippines will launch Tuesday its 16th environment book entitled "A Climate for Life: Meeting the Global Challenge”, a visually compelling and comprehensive publication that outlines the actions needed to stabilize the world's climate.

Eminent Harvard biologist E.O. Wilson and actor Harrison Ford co-author the book's foreword and note that "the central message of A Climate for Life, [is that] the global environment cannot be stabilized and restored piece-by-piece and step-by-step. Its deterioration has to halt on all fronts, through intelligent and concerted action…"

CEMEX Philippines President Sergio Menendez, in simple ceremonies during the book launch, echoed CEMEX's commitment to the environment.

"We, at CEMEX, have learned that it's important to be pro-active in conserving nature and biodiversity. Our series of conservation books, published over the last 15 years, plays a significant role in our conservation strategy.
