Piolo reunited with his one true love!
Heartthrob and hunk Piolo Pascual remains to be one of the most desirable but elusive bachelors in the country. Despite the many leading ladies he has been linked to, Piolo has successfully avoided romantic attachment, always saying the right time hasn’t come, and that Miss Right hasn’t come into his life.
He wants to concentrate on his career, take advantage of the opportunities, the latest of which is the ABS-CBN soap opera project pairing him with KC Concepcion, “Lovers in Paris” which brought them to Paris for taping. The two just came back from that beautiful European City where KC served as Piolo’s tour guide. It is recalled that KC stayed and studied in Paris for four years, enough time for her to learn about the city and its culture.
Showing of “Lovers in Paris” is now being scheduled, along with the other new TV shows of the Kapamilya network. The teleserye is based on a hit Koreanovela of the same title which was shown on ABS-CBN a few years back.
Piolo, reunited with his childhood sweetheart
Anyway, right now the buzz is that Piolo Pascual and his one true love and childhood sweetheart, have reunited! Yes indeed, Piolo and Isabel Oli have reunited, but only on the Max’s TV ad and not in real life, because as we all know, they were never “on,” although Isabel has been honest in saying she had a crush on her Max’s co-endorser.
Their Max’s TV commercial which they made five years ago, was a big hit and it pushed their budding showbiz career up the ladder of fame and popularity. Now Piolo and Isabel Oli are household names, though they belong to rival networks.
When asked about their reunion, the two artists expressed excitement to work together again for the Max’s commercial.
On his part, Piolo said, “I never thought na magkakaroon ng kasunod but Jim Fuentebella (Max’s VP for Corporate Marketing) and I were talking and for the longest time talaga we wanted to bring her back. Tignan mo nga naman siya ngayon, biglang nag-bloom, di ba? At ang daming clamor na rin nga kasi from the customers ng Max’s.”
About Max’s management’s decision to continue with the trilogy of Piolo and Isabel’s Max’s TV ad, Jim Fuentebella said, “At the back of our minds, that story needed to be played out. Everyone at one point in their lives went through something like this. They want to be ‘kilig’ the same way Piolo and Isabel went through in their story. I’m also excited to see how it comes out and I’m sure a lot of people would like to see also what the next chapter will be. It’s also our own way of showing the people how flexible and memorable Max’s is in doing functions and events.”
The story of this romance began in their naïve and innocent ages where Piolo and Isabel made a pact by breaking a wishbone – that distinctive thing that connects them and the promise to never forget each other in their separation. And in a sleigh of hand, the reunion brought back the beautiful memories and the pains of yearning to be reunited with a special someone are gone forever.
Max’s brings memories of this would-be romance to remind everyone of that one thing, that we’d always keep coming back to. Watch and see how serendipity orchestrates Piolo and Isabel’s love story at Max’s and find out how similar it is to yours.
Kim and Gerald: In an ‘MU’ status
Actually, they don’t need to verbalize it, that they’ve been in an “MU” (Mutual Understanding) status for some time because Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson’s actions have always proven the situation between them.
But Kim said, “MU muna because ayaw ko ng commitment. Ok na gusto ko siya, gusto niya ako, hanggang diyan muna. I want us to concentrate on our career muna.”
There is a plan to pair Gerald with Sarah Geronimo but as of the moment, nothing is definite because it seems fans of the Kimerald tandem are not keen on the idea of either Kim or Gerald having new loveteam mates.
“Kung matuloy man ito, malulungkot ako siyempre but I hope susuportahan din ako at si Gerald ng mga fans namin kahit sa iba kami ipareha,” Kim said.
When she celebrated her birth anniversary (her 19th) recently, Kim Chiu was, of course, asked what her birthday wish was. The dainty and pretty Kim beamed as she said, “Sana maging successful also sa career ko, and of course more projects pa sana.”
Well, it seems that her birthday wish will come true, what with her current show “Tayong Dalawa” (with loveteam mate Gerald Anderson and Jake Cuenca) earning high ratings ever since it started airing on ABS-CBN, and with her being a sought-after celebrity endorser at the moment.
Her birthday gift to herself was a 600-sq. meter-lot along Katipunan Ave. in Quezon City in which she will soon build her dream house.
Since she became the first Pinoy Big Brother Teen Grand Winner, Kim’s life has never been the same. She and Gerald became even more popular when they were paired in “My Girl,” the localized version of the famous Koreanovela of the same title. They went on to star in “My Only Hope,” and now “Tayong Dalawa.”
Aside from being a sought-after product endorser (she currently endorses Coca-Cola, Enervon Multivitamins, Skin White, Bioclear, Smart, Bench, Close-Up, Whisper, PH Care Pure n’ Fresh, Bantex Slippers, Skechers Time, MonAmi Gel Pens, Advance Notebooks, Present Perfect Smiles by G.A.O.C., Skechers USA, Glamlab Scents/Natasha Fragrances, Sir George Salon of Mary Pauline, Charms & Crystals, Unisilver, ABS-CBN Interactive Ktext 2366 and Cosmo Nails), Kim is also a favorite magazine covergirl.
Kim indeed has gone a long way after just a year in show business, and from all indications, she has a brighter future ahead.
