A 51-year old Central Bank employee was killed Thursday after he lost control of his scooter while traversing a slippery portion of a road in Quezon City.

Police said Romeo Lalatag, of 37 Pantabangan Street, Napocor Village, Barangay Tandang Sora died on the spot due to massive head injuries.

Senior Police Officer 1 Ronquillo Maano of the Traffic Enforcement Unit (TEU) Sector 6 of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) said Lalatag was not wearing any protective helmet at the time of the accident.

Initial report showed that the victim was driving his Honda scooter (TS 3554) along Banlat Road near Napocor Village when he lost control of his vehicle.
