Seminar on tax Rights & remedies

The Center for Global Best Practices is launching seminar entitled “Tax Rights and Remedies for SMEs and Large Taxpayers,’’ on Friday, June 5, 2009 at the Peninsula Manila, Makati City.

In this one-day, solutions-oriented seminar, the program will focus on taxpayers’ rights and how to address one’s most pressing tax problems, including issues like what to do when the BIR enforces auction on one’s properties for tax collection, how to fairly argue tax dispute based on updates and latest Supreme Court and Court of Tax Appeal rulings, how to properly craft a protest letter, and other special issues and unique solutions that your accountants, lawyers, and especially the BIR won’t tell you.

The seminar will feature book author on Tax Rights and Remedies. Atty. Victorino C. Mamalateo, CPA, who has over 40 years of professional tax practice. He will share his knowledge as a former BIR assistant commissioner and his experiences in the BIR for over 30 years. As an author of several other tax books and as a private pracgtitioner, he is now focused on helping businesses solve their tax problems.

This program is MCLE-accredited by the Integrated Bar of the Philippines.
