A male seafarer allegedly committed suicide inside a shopping mall in Mandaluyong City last June 10.
One Rosario Ornales, 53, a native of Lubao, Pampanga was spotted sitting on the railing of the 5th floor of SM Megamall Building A at 8:40 pm.

Two unidentified female witnesses, who were at the opposite side of the railings where Ornales was standing, said they were surprised when the latter allegedly jumped off all of a sudden.

Upon impact, a loud thud was heard inside the mall, resulting in panic among shoppers who saw the incident. Police investigations reported that Ornales landed flat on his belly.

Ornales was immediately rushed to and is currently confined at Medical City Hospital in Pasig City. Authorities are still investigating as to what caused Ornales' to commit the act.
