Style Kit
Not so Basic Blacks

Classes may have been suspended for the time being, but this doesn’t mean your sense of style is on hold as well. Jag, one of the most affordable, up-to-date, and proudly homegrown brands, shows us how denims have gone from casual wear to luxe in a collection showing at the recently-concluded Philippine Fashion Week.
Aptly called “Black Magic,” the show featured Jag’s premium denim line (along with Antifit and Jag Classic) with a big batch of models led by sexy Marian Rivera and hunk Will Devaughn. Other personalities who joined included Lloyd Zaragoza, Pinoy Fear Factor participants Jana Dominguez, Jose Saralosa, Manuel Chua and Phoemela Barranda; plus, basketball stars PJ Walsham, Rico Maierhofer, and Cholo Villanueva.
The fashion show was divided into three parts, with Antifit showcasing its signature customized jeans, Classics, in mostly well-loved shades of blue; and my personal fave, the Jag Black, the latest premium line that gives denims a boost of sophisticated sexiness.
Black will always be a staple in our closets, and Jag just made it even more of a mainstay with wearable, modern cuts and styles.
