It’s still Sam Milby after all.

They have been separated for at least nine months now but Anne Curtis still can’t get over her ex-boyfriend Sam.

In a one-on-one interview with Kris Aquino in last Sunday’s “The Buzz” episode, Anne was asked who her unending love is among her past boyfriends.

“Alam mo, nakakatawa kasi eto na ‘yong tinatanong sa akin, binibigyan pa ako ng choices. I think we all know naman kung sino….. syempre si Sam,” she said.

Anne added: “Pero syempre, hindi ko sinasabi ito dahil I’m waiting for him na makipagbalikan sa akin o kasi I’m hoping. I don’t want people to get the wrong impression. Sa lahat ng ex ko, he was the one na I saw na talagang pwede, pang-forever, pang eternity.”

The couple broke up last year with the Fil-Am actor initiating the separation. There was no third party involved in the breakup; just Sam wanting more time to spend with God.

Prior to Anne’s “The Buzz” interview, Sam expressed his happiness over Anne’s friendly gesture of giving him a birthday gift after she arrived from a European trip recently.

“It’s flattering, syempre. I’m happy na lagpas na kami sa awkward stage, na hindi na kami nag-aaway. Talagang okay na okay na kami. We both moved on. We’re friends right now,” he said in a taped interview aired over “Showbiz News Ngayon.”

Too friendly that he won’t feel hurt when he learns that Anne is dating a new guy?

“If she’s dating someone else, I’m happy for her,” Sam said.

In the same interview, Sam was egged on to admit his crush. The Fil-Am actor hesitantly admitted that he’s smitten by the Pop Star Sarah Geronimo’s charm.

“I admire Sarah Geronimo [because] she’s so grounded,” he said.

Sam is in no rush to find a new love, though.

“Hindi siya isang bagay na hahanapin ko. Handa akong magkaroon ng relationship uli kaya lang wala, nagtatrabaho ako.”

In the meantime, Anne refuses to name the non-showbiz guy she’s reportedly dating.
