The Phenomenal Diva Jessa Zaragoza, who is married to singer Dingdong Avanzado is ready to come face to face with actress-comedienne Rufa Mae Quinto, one of Dingdong’s ex-girlfriends.

Jessa and Rufa Mae had a verbal tussle over Dingdong last year after Rufa Mae’s tell-all interview on Yes! Magazine in which her past relationship with Dingdong was brought up.  

Jessa and Rufa Mae have not crossed paths since.

However, as a cast member of “Rosalinda,” a remake of the Mexicanovela starred in by Thalia and Fernando Jose, Jessa is expected to guest in GMA-7 shows to promote the Carla Abellana-Geoff Eigenmann soap opera.     

This might include guesting in “Showbiz Central,” a Sunday showbiz-oriented talk show which Rufa Mae co-hosts.

As of press time, “Showbiz Central” is not in the line-up of shows Jessa will visit. Nevertheless, Jessa said that she is unfazed by the controversy such a guesting might produce.

“Okay lang,” she said coolly on the matter.

Jessa was also asked about her relationship with Rachel Alejandro, another ex-girlfriend of Dingdong’s.

“Honestly, hindi talaga kami [Rachel] close. Pag nagkikita kami, nagbabatian kami [pero] walang pagkakataon na naging close kami,” she said.

Diffusing rumors that she and Dingdong have split up, Jessa categorically said that they are still very much in love with each other, and that they are “intact.”

When asked what she would do if someone tries to snatch Dingdong away from her, Jessa confidently said: 

“Ano pa ang aagawin, eh, nasa akin na!”

“Rosalinda” will start airing on GMA-7 on  Monday, July 6.
