It is definitely fitting that our country is called the “Pearl of the Orient Seas.”  We are known worldwide for our pearls, more so the golden variety of these exquisite, natural gems. 

For nearly 30 years, Jewelmer, famous for its champagne-hued South Sea pearls, has been cultivating its pearls in Palawan waters, and transforming them into magnificent pieces of jewelry. The creative team behind the renowned jewelry brand work many sleepless nights producing one-of-a-kind pieces featuring these champagne-colored pearls set in only the best quality gold and precious stones. 

A special collection was launched recently, along with the inauguration of a new branch at the second floor of Greenbelt 5, and the release of a spectacular set of in-store images—a trio of reasons why Jewelmer hosted an intimate party for selected friends and guests last week at the said new shop.

Kris Aquino-Yap graced the event as the store’s guest of honor, wearing a pale pink, asymmetrical, silk jersey dress by Martin Bautista. An exhibit of the in-store images was also on display, set at the Manila Hotel’s iconic Champagne Room, as produced by makeup artist Leo Posadas, photographer Jo Ann Bitagcol, and model Amanda Lapus. Models Bianca Valerio, Isabel Roces, and Girlie Benitez showed off Jewelmer’s finest pieces, dressed in Rhett Eala’s creations: all in sexy bustiers that complemented the brand’s luxurious, lustrous pearl jewelry. 

To cap off the afternoon event, two special-edition, 30th Anniversary Pendants were raffled off to Ana Sobrepeña and Atty. Gaby Concepcion.  Lucky ladies!
