The Pasay City General Hospital (PCGH) announced the suspension of telemedicine consultation starting Sept. 12.
Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the PCGH will only be accepting face-to-face consultation since the Covid-19 status remains under Alert Level 1.
Rubiano said the hospital has advised patients seeking consultation to visit the PCGH Outpatient Department (OPD) for their schedule.
She also said the hospital reminded the patients to bring their valid identification card (ID), vaccination card, and doctor’s referral if there is any.
The mayor said the PCGH issued a workflow for face-to-face consultation of patients.
Rubiano said the hospital will screen the temperature of each patient upon arrival at the outpatient complex.
She said the patient will then proceed to the triage area for the issuance of a number slot for OPD consultation before being allowed inside the designated waiting area.
Patients with no issued number are advised to come back the following OPD day for consultation.
After recording the vital signs and taking a brief medical history, the patient will proceed to a physician for consultation.
Rubiano said prescriptions and health education will also be given to patients.
She said follow-up consultations at the OPD must be made on specified dates.
