No COVID-19 deaths in San Juan for 19 days now – Zamora

San Juan Mayor Francis Zamora (MANILA BULLETIN FILE PHOTO) San Juan Mayor Francis Zamora (ALI VICOY / MANILA BULLETIN FILE PHOTO) Latest data shows that San Juan City has 340 COVID-19 cases of which 54 are active cases, 44 deaths, and 242 recoveries as of June 14. “This is the 19th straight day of zero new COVID-19 deaths recorded in the City of San Juan,” Zamora said. “This is also the ninth time that we have recorded zero new COVID-19 case in the city since the beginning of the COVID-19 crisis,” he added. According to the city government, Barangay Greenhills remains to have the most number of COVID-19 cases so far with 58 confirmed cases, nine deaths, three active cases, and 46 recoveries. The village is considered the center of economic activity in the city. San Juan City emerged as one of the first “hotspots” of the coronavirus outbreak in the country.
