Sexy star Cristine Reyes has renewed her contract with ABS-CBN, defusing rumors that she is returning to her original studio, GMA-7.

Her initial projects under the new contract are an episode for TV show “Your Song” and a Cristine TV special series.

After two months of being a “frozen delight” (meaning, one who is not being given any projects), Cristine is revved up to work again.

“Ready na ako magtrabaho. Masaya, di ba? After all ng mga speculations, at least nandiyan pa rin ang ABS-CBN na nagtitiwala sa akin,” said she in a taped interview aired July 29 in “Showbiz News Ngayon.”

Any lesson learned from the short hiatus?

“Unang-una 'yong pagpapahalaga sa trabaho. Actually, naiyak ako nu’ng tinext ako ng handler ko ng ‘back to work ka na.’ Sobrang happy ako,” she said.

Cristine answered questions about intrigues which have been hounding her.

She denied having a rift with her sister, actress Ara Mina.

“Si Ate kasi palaging out of the country (kasi), siyempre, may special someone siya. Hindi siya masyadong nakaka-bonding sa amin (pero) wala kaming rift. Kung anuman 'yong nasabi sa akin ni Ate, ano lang 'yon, masyado kasi siyang madaldal, eh,” she said.

She also denied saying unsavory things about Heart Evangelista and Pauleen Luna both of whom are rumored to being wooed by Dennis Trillo, Cristine’s ex-boyfriend.

“Ay hindi ha! Never kaming nag-meet nun (Heart). Pero si Pauleen, friend ko si Pauleen.”

With seeming finality, the sexy actress said that there will be no second time around for her and Dennis.

“Sure, paninindigan ko. Wala nang balikan.”

The sexy star neither confirmed nor denied her rumored misunderstanding with her “Banana Split” co-stars, Pokwang and RR Enriquez.

“Hindi naman natin maiiwasan ('yang ganyang mga bagay), eh. Kung ano man ang naging past natin, move on na tayo.”
