CAMP DANGWA, Benguet -- Fifty-eight individuals wanted by law were arrested during a series of manhunt operations conducted on April 16 to April 22.
Based on the records from the Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division (RIDMD), Benguet Police Provincial Office has made the most arrests with the apprehension of 22 wanted persons, followed by the Abra PPO with 13 arrests, Apayao PPO with ten arrests, Baguio City Police Office (CPO) with nine arrests, Kalinga PPO with three arrests, and Ifugao PPO with one arrest.
Of the arrested personalities, ten individuals were listed as most wanted persons (MWP), and these include two in regional level, five in provincial level, and three in the municipal level.
Meanwhile, as a result of intensified police visibility and campaign against criminality, 57 municipalities in the different provinces of the region and four police stations in Baguio City remain peaceful as the Police Regional Office-Cordillera recorded zero crime incidents during the same week.
Zero crime incidents were recorded in 25 municipalities of Abra; four towns in Apayao; six towns in Benguet; eight towns in Ifugao; six towns in Kalinga; and eight towns in Mt. Province.
Naguilian Police Station PS, Aurora Hill PS, Kennon Road PS, and Irisan PS also recorded zero crime incidents out of 10 police stations in Baguio City.
