PRO 13 Regional Director Brig. Gen. Joselito T. Esquivel, Jr has ordered enforcement of stricter security and safety measures to all regional, provincial and city mobile force commanders as well as provincial and city directors and municipal chiefs of police in Caraga’s five provinces and six cities.
“We must maintain security and safety measures,” stressed the region’s top police official in his directive.
At the entrance of PRO13 regional headquarters, the Regional Health Service (RHS) 13 conducts temperature scanning of all personnel aside from the spraying of disinfectants to all incoming vehicles.
Observance of social distancing, wearing of face masks, use of disinfectants or alcohols in all offices, and prohibition of table-hopping have been imposed inside the regional camp.
The police officer on duty and the camp commander are tasked to apprehend those violating the guidelines.
Meanwhile, the provincial/city police offices, police stations and mobile forces have similar stringent measures to ensure the camp is safe from the disease.
The RHS 13 is also closely monitoring the health condition of personnel manning the different quarantine control points in the region.
To date, PNP Caraga frontliners remain negative for COVID-19 infection.
“Complacency has no place in our own corridors so we keep on reminding our troops to observe proper hygiene and follow safety measures whether they are inside or outside their respective camps,” Esquivel said.
