“Di po ibig sabihin na GCQ ang Pampanga ay pwede na po tayong lahat lumabas ng mga bahay natin. Ang madadagdag lang po from ECQ to GCQ ay magsisimula na pong magtrabaho yung mga workers natin (It doesn’t mean that since Pampanga will be on GCQ, we can now go out of our houses. What will be added only from enhanced community quarantine to GCQ are that the workers will start to resume work]. Pineda said.
Pineda also said guidelines and restrictions on the GCO implementation in the province will be announced soon.
Apart from the previous protocols observed under ECQ, employees of business establishments in Pampanga that will be coming from other province or in Manila can now enter the province.
“Makakapasok lang po ang galing sa Maynila o mga area na modified ECQ (MECQ) kung nagtatrabaho po kayo rito or nasa government po kayo, the rest na wala po kayong purpose sa province di parin po kayo pwede pumasok sa province po ng Pampanga” (Residents from Manila and other MECQ residents can only enter the province of Pampanga if they are employed here; the rest, that don’t have purpose for coming here will not be allowed),” Pineda stressed.
The selling of liquor and alcoholic beverages will now be allowed in the province under GCQ, but drinking in public places will be strictly prohibited.
Checkpoints will be maintained to different parts of the province to avoid unauthorized person outside home luring around.
Ordinance No. 756 is still effective under GCQ. Anyone caught outside their abodes without wearing mask will be fined P20,000 up to P50,000. Social distancing must also be strictly observed.
The governor warns all business establishments to abide by these precautionary measures because any violation can cause cancellation of their business permits.
“Pag natyempuhan na ang empleyado nio hindi naka-mask ikoclose po kayo, ka-kanselahin and business permit ninyo” .” Pineda warned.
“Eto pong COVID-19 ay hindi pa po tapos, wala padin pong vaccine na naimbento, nakikiusap po kami sa inyo na ingatan po natin ang ating sarili ingatan po natin ang ating pamilya”. Pineda said.
