Uzman Drug Group member nabbed; P48K 'shabu' seized in Cavite buy-bust

CAVITE – Authorities arrested a member of the Uzman Drug Group in a buy-bust operation in Barangay San Francisco in General Trias City on Thursday, Sept. 22.

The joint operation of the regional and provincial drug enforcement units and the local drug enforcement unit of the General Trias City Police Station resulted in the arrest of Jade Sawaldi alias Biboy, a 28-year-old bus conductor.

Sawaldi is tagged as a high-value individual (HVI) and a member of the Uzman Drug Group.

Confiscated during the operation were two plastic sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated value of P48,300.

The suspect is facing drug charges and was brought to Camp Gen. Pantaleon Garcia in Imus City for investigation.
