P323,000 shabu seized in Caraga

BUTUAN CITY – The Police Regional Office-13 seized suspected shabu worth P323,000 and arrested six drug pushers during anti-illegal drug operations in Agusan del Norte, Surigao del Sur, and this city on Saturday, July 22.

“All arrested persons are now facing charges for violation of RA No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002,” PRO 13-RPIO chief Police Major Jennifer S. Ometer said. Ometer said through the support of concerned residents and multi-sectoral support and cooperation, their all-out campaign against illegal drugs is expected to have more substantial gains in the coming days. She added that PRO-13 remains firm in their all-out fight against the drug menace, particularly individuals who distribute illegal drugs in the community.
