Many speculate that Sam Milby and Anne Curtis are back in each other’s arms following recent reports about them being seen "out on a date" together.

Though the fans of the couple were quick to celebrate, Sam dispelled the rumors, saying the "date" was just a one-off.

"We dated but once and we were with friends,” said he when cornered recently by the media at the NAIA from where he was set to fly to Hawaii to attend the wedding of a sibling.

Sam added that he and Anne are now “way over” their past. “We’re good. We’re talking again. She actually texted me and congratulated me with [my performance on] 'And I Love You So.'”

Anne was only one of many people who were impressed with Sam’s work  in the film.

“I enjoyed doing my role [in 'And I Love You So']. I exerted effort to really take in the role and I’m thankful that people noticed somehow. Now I feel like I have to continue [working] on that. I don’t want to waste the effort…the help given [to me] by direk [Laurenti Dyogi] and Bea [Alonzo, co-star].”

This early people are predicting an award for Sam. Is he as expectant?

“Oh, I dunno…people noticing [my acting] is enough for me. It’s too early to tell.. But like everybody else [in the industry] I am hoping to win an award someday.”
