Mondelez PH supports LGBTQIA, paints rainbow crosswalk in Parañaque
The Mondelez Philippines, a snacking company located in Parañaque City,
painted another pedestrian crosswalk with rainbow colors in front of its
office to express support to the LGBTQIA community.
The snacking company partnered with the city government's Special Services Office (SSO) for its second rainbow-colored crosswalk project on July 14.
The painting of pedestrian crosswalk was the second initiative of the snacking
company. It first painted a multi-colored crosswalk inside the University of the Philippines in Diliman in partnership with the student organization UP Babaylan last year.
The company participated in the Pride PH march held in Quezon City on June 24, where representatives and employees of the company marched alongside the community with the theme “Love Laban”.
The company served as one of the parade’s sponsor.
“Mondelez Philippines will always be on the side of championing equality, no matter who you are. Diversity and inclusion are measures of how we stay true to our purpose to empower people to snack right; with the right snack, for the right
moment, and made the right way,” said Mondelez.
