SexBomb Girls’ Rochelle Pangilinan denied rumors that boxing champ Manny Pacquiao had a hand in her being cast in the new sitcom, “Show Me The Manny.”

“Wala. Hindi ko alam,” she told Manila Bulletin Online at the “Show Me” press conference held Aug. 18. “Si Tita Avin (Marivin Arayata, GMA-7 executive) na lang ang tanungin ninyo [about it] kasi siya ang makakaalam non.”

Rochelle was linked to Manny after she performed in the boxer's birthday party in General Santos City months ago.

Manny is aware of the rumors linking him to Rochelle.

“Tinanong niya [Rochelle] sa akin ‘yan--'Bakit tayo natsitsismis?' Sabi ko, 'Gano’n talaga. Pag walang nangyayari, matsitsismis,’” said Manny.

He added: "Pero ‘yong may nangyayari na dapat matsismis, ‘yun ‘yong [hindi natisitsismis]. Porke nag-show kami [ni Rochelle] sa GenSan ay akala ng iba, kami na.”

Rochelle admitted that she is dating hunk actor Arthur Solinap.

“[Pero] date-date lang at hindi exclusively dating,” she clarified.

“Show Me The Manny is Rochelle’s first sitcom with Manny whom she described as a “playful” person.

“Ay naku, isip-bata [si Manny]. Akala ko sa totoong buhay ay seryoso [siya] pero nagulat ako [dahil] kalabit dito, kalabit diyan siya. Maharot. Nakakatuwa [siya kasi] sobrang baliktad siya sa ini-expect ko.”

Rochelle also talked about Manny’s generosity.

“Lagi kaming busog sa pagkain sa set courtesy of GMA-7 and Manny."

As if to bolster Rochelle’s claim, Manny raffled off a total of P300,000 in cash from her own pocket during the press conference.
