Switzerland-based Filipina owns more than 1,000 pairs of high-heeled shoes

A Filipina living in Switzerland who owns more than a thousand pairs of shoes or heels shared how her obsession started.

In a report from GMA, Jessica Barbecho, also known as the “Queen of Heels” in TikTok, said she started collecting shoes in 1993.

“Nahilig ako sa heels simula nung nagtrabaho ako sa sapatusan malapit sa amin... na-engganyo talaga ako sa ganda ng mga heels kaya simula noon, nag-umpisa na akong mangolekta ng sapatos (I've been obsessed with heels since I started working at a shoe store near us... I was really fascinated by the beauty of the heels so since then, I have started collecting shoes),” she said.

Barbecho said she buys a pair every month to add to her collection.

She also shared that the most expensive shoes she owns is a pair of Dolce & Gabanna which cost her almost P200,000.

Barbecho believes that wearing heels makes women look more elegant and sexy.
