Dawn minus veteran guitarist out with new album

It’s been four years since rock legend The Dawn released an album featuring an all-new material, so you can bet on the huge volume of creative juices that flowed into their latest offering under MCA Music.

Ten monster tracks comprise Dawn’s new album “Sound The Alarm,” including singles “Fire Down Below” and “Hatak.”

New member, guitarist Kenneth Ilagan, who honed his chops after playing with different bands of varying genres, got on board replacing former guitarist Francis Reyes while two sterling record producers – Ariz Guinto and Raimund Marasigan – add more rocking flavor.

As a rocking treat, The Dawn will bring down the walls of Eastwood with an album launch on Sept. 11 at the Eastwood Central Plaza.

With their latest package being described as melodic, human, and uplifting, vocalist Jett Pangan, drummer JB Leonor, bassist Buddy Zabala and Kenneth pulled out all the stops for this one, ensuring fans and Dawn connoisseurs alike that their string of anthems shall continue to grow.
