Cinemaserye presents ‘Reunion’

"Reunion” is indeed a reunion of two pairs of lovers who broke up due to one reason or another, and which makes the story even more interesting and intriguing.
“Reunion” begins airing Sept. 17 right after “Shining Inheritance” of GMA-7.
“Reunion” stars Jennica Garcia as Chantilly, and paired with Mart Escudero as Angelo; Ranier Castillo as Ryan, and paired with Sheena Halili as Pepper.
Asked if they would engage in kissing in their scenes like what other actresses have done, Sheena and Jennica said they would rather not!
“I am not ready yet for any kissing scene,” Sheena stressed. “It’s not the time yet!”
On her own, Jennica said that she is not ready yet to engage in a kissing scene. “My father might think that that’s all what I know in acting. Many beautiful and blockbuster movies as well as popular TV dramas have practically no kissing scenes at all.” Jennica stressed that her focus now is her career and her family.
Asked if “Reunion” would be an opportunity for her to return to her former lover’s arms, Jennica said this would not be so. “I’m just doing my role,” she emphasized, “And it ends there!”
She added that, “I’m happier now!”
Sheena also said that “Reunion” would not bring her back to the arms of her former lover. “Though it might lead to that!”
Other members of the cast are Jose Manalo, Steff Prescott, Kevin Santos, Patani, and John Lapus.
The four-part episode is a hilarious comedy spiced up with interesting characters and exciting plotlines that explore the boundaries of true and genuine friendship.
The plot revolves around two kooky high school pals, Chantilly and Pepper who made a pact to redeem themselves to the mean girls led by Asheewari, played by Jade Lopez, who humiliated them during their graduation ball.
Shantilly and Pepper receive news of an upcoming reunion of their high school and they are desperate to make good impressions on everyone and catch the eyes of their former old flames, Angelo, and Ryan.
Chantilly and Pepper arrive at the bash looking like professional single ladies who are at the top of their game. They concoct bogus stories about their “careers” to show off to Asheewari and make a knock out impression on Angelo and Ryan.
But will Chantilly and Pepper succeed, or fail, thus ruining their own friendship? Or, wlll they be able to rekindle romance with respective old flames?

Building champions with Chris Tiu
From the pigeonhole:
It’s a widely known fact that sports is a great vehicle to mold children and young adults to become champions in life, thanks to the character-forming values – discipline, determination and honesty – that sports brings. Basketball standout Chris Tiu is a fine example as to how sports can help anyone be a champion in life.
A proud product of the Milo-sponsored BEST Center, Chris credits his time spent playing basketball for inculcating values that helped him become who he is today, a highly respected and admired person both on and off the court.
“A true champion is a winner in court and in life; someone who excels in sport, uses his success to inspire others and make a difference in other people’s lives,” says Chris. True to his belief, Chris can sometimes be seen visiting the Milo-sponsored BEST Clinics or attending the Milo BEST-SBP Passerelle tournaments.
“Playing sports teaches you to go through adversity and hardships. Sometimes you feel physically, mentally and emotionally drained but you just have to push yourself and these are the moments when you discover the champion within,” says Chris.
Only recently, Chris also graced The Joy of Wellness Fair organized by Nestlé Philippines. During the event, basketball fans got a chance to interact with Chris via a free throw shootout, which showed not just Chris’ basketball skills, but also his generosity and sincerity in spending time with other people. He likewise exhorted everyone to get into the wellness path by engaging themselves in sports. “I strongly encourage parents to get their kids into sports because of the many benefits that it brings not just in terms of their health but also for their character,” says Chris.

Giselle Sanchez invests on new technology
I was pleasantly surprised to see comedienne Giselle Sanchez back in her sexy figure. It was just three months ago when I saw her in a coffee shop signing a contract with Suzanne Salindong of CordLife Philippines.
CordLife is a company that collects, processes and store stem cells from your child’s umbilical cord. She was so huge and ready to pop her baby which she did a few hours after we saw each other. She told me that she was making an investment in case her children develop a life-threatening disease and would need the stem cells for a new organ or to treat blood diseases and cancer.
You can always count on Giselle investing on new technology. Giselle is now “Back in Business.” And that’s the title of the comedy concert Pagcor Hyatt is sponsoring on Sept. 17 at 8 p.m. I’m particularly excited because Giselle told me that she has some new comedy material and new songs in her concert.
