DJ Babey Drew (Andrew Bisnaught) is the official DJ for the Grammy-nominated, R&B singer Chris Brown. Born and raised in Queens, New York, he began by spinning reggae, his first musical love. At the age of 12, and as he grew older, he diversified his skills and learned to play hip-hop, R&B and Top 40 hits. He attended Hampton University and broke into college radio at WHOV 88.1 FM. Starting at an entry level position; he worked his way up to being an on-air DJ. In 2000, he launched “The Babey Drew College Tour 3,” touring colleges across the US.

For his Manila shows, DJ Babey Drew is gonna rock the house with his own brand of beats that made him a superstar in America and in Chris Brown’s kingdom. So don’t miss the chance of watching this ghetto wonder as he blazes through the streets of Manila.

Lisa Macuja 25th anniversary show postponed

“Lisa@25,” the production marking prima ballerina Lisa Macuja-Elizalde’s 25th anniversary in professional dance, is being postponed in light of recent events resulting from the onslaught of typhoon Ondoy. The series of shows was originally scheduled from Oct. 2 to 4.

Ballet Manila and the Manila Broadcasting Company, organizers of the show, have announced that the new dates of “Lisa@25” will be as follows: Oct. 9 and 10, 7:30 p.m., and Oct. 11, 3 p.m. still at Aliw Theater, CCP Complex, Pasay City.

Macuja-Elizalde said partial proceeds of Lisa@25 will be earmarked for flood victims.
