Sun Life of Canada (Philippines), Inc. (SLOCPI), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sun Life Financial Inc. (SLF) announced Monday that its Board of Directors has elected former finance secretary Jose Isidro N. (Lito) Camacho as the company’s Chairman of the Board, effective September 30, 2009.

His wealth of experience here in the Philippines and internationally, coupled with his work in the public sector as Finance Secretary makes him the ideal person to support Sun Life's management in their goal of making Sun Life Philippines an even greater success in the market.”
