Residents in Batangas and Cavite provinces were immediately evacuated after the sudden phreatic explosion of the Taal Volcano on Sunday afternoon.
In a Facebook post, Angel Castillo posted photos of some of the evacuees while eating inside their eatery.
“Free food to all evacuees!! Malapit lang po sa kanto ng Manghinao. Feel free to come po. Salamat din po sa nag bigay ng tulong. God Bless us all,” Castillo wrote in her post.
Her post reached more than 30,000 likes and shares as of this writing.
Taal is an active volcano that straddles Cavite and Batangas provinces. Its last major erruption was in 1977.
