In a Facebook post, the management said that Star City “will not be open this Christmas season” as they lay down their “plans for rehabilitation of the park.”
However, it assured that, they will be “making an announcement on reopening of the park in due time.”
“Thank you for your understanding and we wish everyone joy and happiness with your loved ones this holiday season,” the Star City management added.
Initially, officials from the Star City said that they will try to be operational this holiday season after the amusement park was struck by a four-house blaze in early October, which started around 12:30 a.m. About 80 percent of the park was destroyed.
