Save 50% in printing costs with new HP Deskjet Ink Advantage Offerings
HP has launched its new ultra-low cost HP Deskjet Ink Advantage printing solutions, together with a new study by Spire Research and Consulting which showed that HP Deskjet Ink Advantage helps SOHO and micro-business customers halve their printing costs compared to leading inkjet competitors.
The ground-breaking Deskjet Ink Advantage solution – which achieves the most affordable printing of any HP Deskjet printer – has seen great success since being broadly introduced earlier this year as SOHO and micro-businesses aim to reduce costs and boost productivity.
In the Philippines, the HP Deskjet Ink Advantage solution has helped HP achieve number one market share of 21.18 percent for Inkjet AiO (A4) in the $80 and above price range since its launch.
The new Deskjet Ink Advantage Printer K109a and Deskjet Ink Advantage All-in-One K209a use ultra-low cost HP 703 Black or Tri-color Deskjet Ink Cartridges are reasonablypriced, making these solutions both economical and efficient for frequent or moderate high-volume printing. With the quality and reliability associated with Original HP inks available at such an affordable price, customers need not consider aftermarket alternatives or competitive printing systems to trim costs.
“This announcement is a testament to HP’s leadership in providing customers with greater value from high-performing printing solutions that deliver cost savings,” said Jenny Sotto-Siquico, Country General Manager, Imaging and Printing Group, HP Philippines. “Choosing the HP Deskjet Advantage over other four-ink printing systems from competitors will let SOHOs and micro-businesses reduce their printing costs by up to 70 percent.”
A recent study conducted by Spire Research and Consulting and commissioned by HP found that HP Deskjet Advantage solutions save customers 50 percent on the cost of ink compared to a majority of leading competitors in four countries in Asia Pacific (India, Indonesia, Philippines and Thailand). Using publicly available pricing information to ensure accuracy and impartiality, Spire analyzed the cost per page of comparable four-ink printing systems from three leading printer companies and found that HP Deskjet Ink Advantage offers clear costs savings versus other leading brands.
“Many people see competitors’ low cartridge prices and assume they are a bargain, when in reality the yield may be low and the cost-per-page high. Our research on street pricing in four Asia Pacific countries revealed that customers can significantly lower their printing costs on a per-page basis using HP Deskjet Ink Advantage and low-price, high-capacity Original HP ink cartridges as compared to other leading original printer brands in the market,” said Leon Perera, Group Managing Director of Spire Research and Consulting.
In the Philippines, internal HP studies show Deskjet Ink Advantage printers typically “break even” as early as eight months, based page volume assumption of 150 pages per month (five pages per day). Beyond the break-even point, customers can stand to save between P6,500 to P12,000.00 when using Deskjet Ink Advantage for three years.
“The HP Deskjet Advantage has been providing our SOHO and micro-business clients with very positive results as they increase their savings without any sacrifices,” said Joanne Tan, Head of Merchandising for Electroworld (a leading IT retailer with 20 stores in Manila, 6 stores in Visayas & Mindanao, and 22 stores under Abensons).
