Since 2005, Freska has been serving hearty and authentic Ilonggo dishes to families, groups of friends, and foodies alike through its four branches in Metro Manila and one in Iloilo City.

The idea behind this family restaurant is to make people more aware of delicious Ilonggo fare. Not many people know that a lot of popular Pinoy dishes hail from Iloilo like the Batchoy, Pancit Molo, and Chicken Inasal.

Expect to find a lot of seafood dishes at Freska as Iloilo is well known for its bountiful seafood such as Roxas oysters, scallops, and managat (Visayan snapper). With a menu consisting of 48 dishes that range from appetizers, soups, seafood, meat, and vegetable, there’s surely something for everyone at Freska.

Some of Freska’s most popular seafood dishes include the Grilled Tuna with Lato Salad, Crispy Catfish with Mango Salad, and the Grilled Blue Marlin. However, do take note of Freska’s lineup of special managat, scallops, and oyster dishes. Managat in Papilotte, Grilled Scallops a la Pau, Grilled Oysters with Four Cheese are just some of Executive Chef Pauline Gorriceta-Banusing’s seafood specialties that can turn anyone into a seafood lover.

For added value, Freska also offers the Freska’s Festival Platters, which, at P1,195 is already good for a group of six to seven people. Freska’s Festival Platters consist of its bestselling dishes like the Pinakbet, Chicken Binakol, Grilled Stuffed Squid, and Grilled Liempo. Given that any Pinoy meal won’t be complete without the usual serving of rice, Freska’s Festival Platters already come complete with a family-size serving of plain rice.
