The Philippine Industrial Relations Society (PIRS), Inc., in cooperation with the University of the Philippines-School of Labor and Industrial Relations (UP-SOLAIR) is hosting the National Industrial Relations Conference on October 22-23 at the UP-SOLAIR Auditorium, Bonifacio Hall, E. Jacinto St., Diliman, Quezon City.

The theme of the conference is “Emerging Philippine IR/HR Initiatives in a Recovering ASEAN.” More than 30 paper writers and researchers from the academe, top corporations and institutions in the country will deliver papers at the conference. The presentations will revolve on Human Resource Management, Workplace Partnership; Work, Family and Community; and Labor Laws and Governance. Keynote speaker is Dr. Gert Gust, President of the International Labor Organization (ILO) Association of the Philippines and former Director of the ILO Manila.

PIRS, Inc. is the national organization of the International Labour and Employment Relations Association based in Geneva, Switzerland.
