MB Daily News Update: Biden sends delegation to BBM inauguration

Led by the Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff, an official delegation has been dispatched by United States President Joe Biden to attend the June 30, 2022 inauguration of President-elect Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. Emhoff is the husband of US Vice President Kamala Harris.

In a related development, the Philippine National Police has designed several freedom parks where protesters can stage rallies during the inauguration of Marcos.

Marcos has also named a barangay chairperson from Quezon City to be one of the undersecretaries in the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).

Another sea tragedy struck after a fishing boat capsized in the waters off Bataan, killing four fishermen and leaving another missing. It was the second accident at sea after a passenger vessel caught fire in the middle of a voyage between Bohol and Leyte last Sunday, June 26, 2022.
