Games on Friday (The Arena, San Juan)
2 p.m. – FEU vs Ateneo
4 p.m. – St. Benilde vs San Sebastian

Defending champion San Sebastian and College of St. Benilde rekindle their NCAA rivalry when they clash this Friday in the sixth Shakey’s V League at The Arena in San Juan City.

The SSC spikers and the Lady Blazers meet at 4 p.m. with the CSB tossers seeking revenge against SSC after losing badly in the deciding Game 3 of their title series.

Clashing in the first game at 2 p.m. are Far Eastern University and Ateneo, two teams hoping to nail their first ever V-League crown this season.

The Lady Tamaraws are shooting for their third win for solo second spot while the Lady Eagles are hoping to regain their bearings from a four-set loss to University of Santo Tomas in the event presented by Shakey’s Pizza and organized by Sports Vision.

A win by the Lady Tamaraws will propel them behind the league-leading Tigresses, who have already secured the first quarterfinals berth by streaking to their fifth straight win last Tuesday.

Both SSC and CSB have actually been going at each other the past three NCAA finals, and in all those encounters, SSC has always emerged triumphant.

The two teams had contrasting results in their initial games in the league with SSC beating University of the Philippines side in four sets and St. Benilde absorbing a straight-set loss to Adamson last Tuesday.
