South Korean Ambassador Han Dong-man has offered to create a "Korean town" in Malate, Manila after he paid a courtesy call on Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso on Wednesday.

During the meeting, the ambassador pitched a plan to create a "Korean town" in the Malate area.
Domagoso said he plans to meet with the Korean Business Association of the Philippines regarding the proposal.
The foreign envoy also invited the Mayor to an international forum on climate change this coming November.
Their meeting also covered the negotiations between the Philippines and South Korea to lessen air pollution via e-jeepneys and e-tricycles.
The Korean ambassador is the 16th envoy to visit the Manila City Hall since Moreno assumed office in July.
