The Department of Health (DoH) is seeking help from the international community to help curb the rise in leptospirosis case, Health Secretary Francisco Duque said Saturday.

Duque said the government needs the help of the international organizations to help solve the worsening leptospirosis situation.

The number of leptospirosis cases has reached more than 2,000, with 140 deaths reported by National Epidemiology Center under Dr. Eric Tayag.
